Rough Draft: A Memoir by Katy Tur
I went into this book with an open mind.
This book didn’t mesh well.
First of all, Katy talks about her hard life growing up.
She’s not the only one who has a difficult childhood. I had no idea her parents flew a helicopter and covered things like OJ. To each their own.
Her Father transitions into a woman. Ok, it’s his life so be it. But I guess a deeper question is why. Why now? Is there emotional trauma in the past? Again asking the why has never hurt anyone and it does not excuse the emotional abuse he did to his kids.
Let’s get into the big issue. Katy interviews Trump and says it was a normal interview but then people say to her that he was so hostile to her. She rewatches the video and suddenly says ‘oh my god you’re right.’ Why? Your first impression was it was normal. But clearly, the influence of others has pushed your opinion.
The book is very anti-Trump. You can just feel it dripping off the pages. The way they say Melania is the third wife while true but you can feel the hate and the bias.
But again you’re the MSM you don’t ask the hard questions. You can’t ask the people on the street why they like Trump. You don’t attempt to get the other side of the story anymore.
The bias is there and this book shows the bias.
Katy is shocked Trump won and yet never said ‘oh wow look at how we push HRC in the media and never Trump’
Katy would never had say these things if it was HRC.
You Katy never says a thank you to Trump for making her a big name in the MSM.
Is your hatred of Trump tied to your father’s issues? Who knows. I’m asking the hard questions that you don’t seem to want to ask.
