‘How the Penguins Saved Veronica’ by Hazel Prior.
This sounded like a wonderful book. It’s not.
Loved the cover and that’s about it.
Veronica isn’t the best person when you meet her but you slowly (via a diary) learn about her past and that’s how her newly discovered grandson finds out about her life. You kind of knew what would happen. I think other books have done it better since the characters remain kind of boring.
Not a book I could get into.
