‘The Divorce Papers: A Novel’ by Susan Rieger is an interesting story overall because it is all told via the notes, emails, memo’s, legal documents ec between the key lawyer and her client, boss, friend, parents and so on. It was a unique way to tell the story. (Also shows in a way how the digital age can pool information). One also learns a few things about the divorce process. My only complaint is at times there were a few to long legal or account documents that one kind of skipped over. But one word kept popping into my mind the entire time while I was reading it…Prenup.
